For years, she has worked at the intersection of national security, humanitarian response, and international advocacy, helping support vulnerable communities affected by conflict and crisis.
Following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Mobbs became increasingly focused on one of the war's most devastating and least understood consequences: the systematic abduction and deportation of Ukrainian children into Russia and Russian-controlled territories.
Her investigation into this growing humanitarian crisis is the focus of the award-winning documentary film The Stolen Children.

Working alongside government officials, humanitarian organizations, investigators, and frontline operators, she helps document one of the most urgent human rights crises of the war.
Through firsthand accounts from children who escaped Russian captivity, expert testimony, and on-the-ground reporting, The Stolen Children reveals the human cost behind the headlines and shines a light on families still searching for answers.
The film offers a rare look inside ongoing efforts to locate, identify, and recover Ukrainian children who have been separated from their families, while raising awareness about a crisis that continues to impact thousands.

The forced transfer and deportation of children has become one of the most alarming aspects of Russia's war against Ukraine. While much of the world's attention has focused on military operations, countless families continue searching for sons and daughters taken from occupied territories and placed far from home.
The Stolen Children highlights the individuals working tirelessly to uncover the truth, support survivors, and advocate for the safe return of every child still missing.
Through the story of Meaghan Mobbs and the voices of those directly affected, the film serves as both an investigation and a call to action.
